Will Green Demon Fix Oil Leaks?
Green Demon is a coolant leak repair formula and is not suitable for oil leaks. Unfortunately there are no products available for fixing head gasket oil leaks. But we’re working on it.
Do I have to drain or flush the system first?
Green Demon mixes with all types and brands of antifreeze/coolant and is safe to add to any water engine, including aluminum blocks/heads. Green Demon contains NO SODIUM SILICATE unlike many other block sealers, so it’s totally safe for your system.
How much do I need?
1 bottle is enough for cars, SUVs and trucks. For Heavy Duty engines use 2 bottles and for motorcycles use a quarter to half a bottle.
Will Green Demon work on my vehicle?
Green Demon is suitable for use on all water cooled engines including motor cycles, cars, trucks, SUVs and even Heavy Duty machinery. Check our installation instructions for how much you need.
What if I only have water in my cooling system?
That’s fine. Green Demon just needs to be able to flow around the cooling system to reach the leak area. Water is fine, but we recommend you revert to the correct coolant/antifreeze mixture after you have made a repair.
